19.12.2019 14:06In order to facilitate traffic and improve traffic safety in the days before Christmas - Friday, Saturday and Monday, when many people will be traveling during peak hours, the traffic of motor vehicles intended for the carriage of goods over 12 tonnes on motorways and busy traffic axes will be suspended. Road Infrastructure Agency urges drivers to travel with winter-prepared vehicles, to drive carefully and at an appropriate speed, not to embark on risky overtaking and to comply with the imposed restrictions, road signs and not to use the emergency lanes on motorway sections in order to travel more quickly.

The project is co-funded by the Cross-Border Cooperation Program INTERREG VA Greece – Bulgaria 2014 – 2020 and the national budget. The investment is for over BGN 21 million including VAT.

16.11.2019 09:00The Partnership under the Obligations and Contracts Act "APP LOT 3.2.1" is selected as a contractor for a 13.2 km section of Struma Motorway through the Kresna Gorge - Lot 3.2.1. The chairman of the Management Board of the Road Infrastructure Agency Georgi Terziyski has signed the decision on the ranking of participants in the procedure for the selection of a contractor of the public procurement for the selection of a contractor for the design and construction of a section of the motorway in the section between Kresna and Krupnik. This is the roadway in the direction Kulata - Sofia, which will pass east of the Kresna Gorge on a new carriageway.
